My name is Luke and I am the co-founder and president for the UEA Blogging Society.
I am a third year undergraduate at UEA studying Politics. However, this is my fourth year at UEA as I did a Foundation Year in the Humanities. I am also School Convener for PPL which means I have a seat on the Union Council so if you ever want me to raise an issue just let me know.

My role as your president is very simple – to prioritise our members needs and represent our society to the best of my ability. My most important role is to ensure that the society runs smoothly and that members have the chance to share their work with us whilst also having fun.

Secretary and Union Council Rep:

Hi there, I’m Jamie, the secretary and co-founder of BlogSoc. I’m a third-year politics student, but like Luke I was a Foundation Year student so this is my fourth year at UEA. I’ve tried to keep my blog pretty non-political so far, instead focusing on the wonderful world of pop culture as I spend far too much of my time watching TV.

As your secretary I’ll be handling a lot of the admin, working with the union to keep things running smoothly. I’m also going to be helping to run the Twitter account and the main WordPress site for the society, so feel free to message me if you have anything that you might want putting on there!

I’m really looking forward to getting started on this, hopefully this platform will be useful to many of you and will inspire you to get blogging!

blogsocbiHey, I’m Scott and I’ll be acting as the treasurer for the UEA Blogging Society this year. As a third year economics student, stepping into this role will come as a surprise to absolutely no one.

My role will revolve around all things finance for BlogSoc. On top of this, I’ll be chipping in with ideas to help improve the society and keep it running smoothly.

As a keen blogger for the past 3 years and a founding member of BlogSoc, I love all things blog related. In the past, I had a premium WordPress version and enjoyed some mild success with things like Google AdSense. If this is something which interests you, feel free to ask me your questions. At the moment, I tend to write a mixture of book reviews and topical financial posts for both ueabloggingsociety.com and scottstockdale.co.uk

If you have any blogging questions or general questions about the society, I’ll be more than happy to help. Feel free to drop me a message or ping me a tweet!

22684900_1828003870845262_1412424203_nHi! My name’s Tony and I’m a second year Literature and History student. I’m Blog Soc’s Health and Safety Officer, which means I’m responsible for filling in all the dull paperwork when there’s a social and offering tips, advice and bad puns to new bloggers at our workshops.

I’ve been blogging since 2015. On my blog I post anything and everything: interviews, theatre and music reviews, current affairs and opinion pieces. I’m also President of Egg Box, UEA’s publishing society, and Features co-editor of the student newspaper Concrete. Outside of uni, I’m a huge music fan. My hero is Paul Weller who I’ve been lucky enough to see live eight times to date and I’m a fan of a wide range of other artists and bands!
